		OVERVIEW
		Paradise is the first online poker site I joined (a little over two years ago).  Paradise will always be special to me because it sent me to the 2004 WSOP after I won an online satellite tournament.  It has the reputation of always having had the best software in the business, and I have to agree--no crashes or glitches since I've been playing.  Paradise is about the third most popular site behind Party Poker and Poker Stars.  An excellent site overall.
		As of October 2006, Paradise Poker is no longer accepting real money deposits from players in the U.S.
		BONUSES
		Initial deposit:	25% up to $50.  Use code FIRST25 when purchasing.

		Method of tabulation:	Raked hands
		Details:	You must play 10 raked hands for every $1 of bonus collected.  (To receive the maximum bonus of $50, you must play 500 raked hands.)  Every pot that reaches $5 after a call is raked.
		Opinion:	At $1/$2 tables and higher, this bonus is second only to Party's and Empire's bonus for ease of collection.  Count on playing 120 hands of $1/$2 for every $10 in bonus you intend to collect.  Paradise's bonus is unique in that it is released to you $10 at a time (every 100 raked hands), making this site attractive to those with smaller bankrolls.  Bonus percentage is better than at Party and Poker Room (25% vs. 20%), but the maximum bonus ($50) is only half of industry standard of $100.
		Reload bonuses:	Paradise offers infrequent reload bonuses--one every two or three months.  These are usually 20% up to $100 with the same requirements for release as the initial deposit bonus.  A recent promotion allowed you to reload up to twice (up to a maximum of $200) over a five-day period.  One of the best deals in the industry!
		GAME SELECTION/COMMENTS
		Very good.  Once the industry leader, Paradise fell behind Party Poker and Poker Stars because it was late in implementing multi-table tournaments into its software.  Now Paradise has excellent multi-table tournaments (including freerolls) as well as cash games.
		RAKE
		Paradise's rake structure is average for the industry.  Rake is capped at $3 maximum per pot.  See Paradise Poker's rake structure.
		PLAYER REWARDS
		In 2006, Paradise introduced its Players Club.  You receive Players Club points by playing real-money cash games and tournaments.  At the moment, Players Club points can be used only to gain entry to special tournaments with cash prizes.
		MISCELLANEOUS
		Paradise is unusual in the industry in how it rakes tournament play.  While other sites will denote how much they take from a tournament entry free ($10+$1 means that the house takes $1 while the $10 goes toward the prize pool), Paradise does not but takes 9% from the total prize pool.  There's no big difference in payouts, but some prefer to know up front how much the house collects. In 2005, Paradise added a couple of innovative features to its software.  You can now play blackjack on the site, and you can place bets on sporting events!  To do the latter, you are allowed to move funds from your Paradise poker account to a Sportsbook.com (Paradise's companion site) account.  From there, you will be able to place your bets.
